The following formula has been provided by a Grenadian herbalist that may protect lungs.

The instructions are as follows:

  1. Mix herbs together (see list below).
  2. Boil a cup of hot water
  3. Add a teaspoon of the herbal concoction in a cup of hot water
  4. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes
  5. Strain
  6. Drink three cups a day.

Herbs for above directions:

  • Spikenard
  • Balloon Flower Root
  • Prince Seng-Taizishen (Yin Tonic)
  • Honeysuckle
  • Lobelia
  • Saw Palmetto
  • Horehound
  • Elecampane
  • Thyme
  • Elderflower
  • Elderberry
  • Echinacea

This second formulation is simpler.  Follow directions above with these herbs:

  • Astragalus
  • Elderberry
  • Reishi
  • Schisandra
